Raymond Terrace

St Brigid's Primary School, Raymond Terrace is a Catholic school in the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 6.

Using contemporary evidence-based teaching and learning, every classroom at St Brigid’s is equipped with state-of-the-art technology including laptops, tablets, iPads and SMART Boards.

St Brigid’s aims to cater for the learning experiences of all students, recognising their individual learning, behavioural, social and emotional needs. Students are also encouraged to develop STEM skills through critical thinking, coding club and problem solving.

St Brigid’s has a strong focus on promoting physical activity and healthy living through all aspects of school life. This philosophy integrates opportunities to be physically active throughout the school day, focusing on providing quality and active physical education lessons and providing diverse sporting opportunities.

The school’s Defence Schools Transition Aide (DSTA) supports defence families within the school community. The DSTA’s role includes welcoming, integrating, farewelling and supporting families during times of parental absence. The focus is to help students build resilience and assist them with the added stress of being a defence family.
